Summaries Abstracts must be submitted in English according to the following format: Times New Roman (14 points for the title in bold and 12 points for the rest of the text), single spacing and without character limits. In the attached document you have a standard summary. Electronic summaries should be sent to cesarllave@cib.csic.es.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is January 31, 2010. Oral Communications. The papers presented should be, as far as possible, in oral format.

The presentation time of the papers will be 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes of discussion. Taking into account the final number of communications presented, the exposure time could be extended to 20 minutes. Only if the final number of oral communications exceeds the time estimates, the scientific committee will consult with each group the possibility of converting any oral presentation to poster format.

Communications may be presented in PowerPoint or PDF formats, preferably. In deference to invited foreign speakers, the text of the slides must be written in English. The presentation of the work can be done in Spanish or English. Speakers must present and upload their presentations to the computer before the start of their corresponding session.

Scientific Poster Format. The posters will have a maximum width of 85 cm and a maximum height of 120 cm in portrait orientation. The title, the authors and their contact address should appear at the top, in font sizes considerably larger than the rest of the text. Of course the posters must be written in English. They must be placed on the first day and will be displayed throughout the Congress.
